Sri Hanuma Inc (DBA Lone Tree Veterinary Hospital & Urgent Care) has an opening for Associate Veterinarian position.
Requirements
DVM (Doctor of Veterinary Medicine) or foreign equivalent of Bachelor of Science in Veterinary Science or Veterinary Medicine and valid California state license as veterinarian along with 6 months of experience in providing veterinary medical care in a veterinary hospital.
Duties
- Provide comprehensive medical care to companion animals, including performing physical examinations, diagnosing illnesses, and developing appropriate treatment plans.
- Conduct routine surgical procedures such as spays, neuters, mass removals, and dental treatments while ensuring proper anesthesia and pain management.
- Administer vaccines, preventive care, and necessary medications.
- Utilize diagnostic tools, including bloodwork, radiographs, and urinalysis, and interpret results to support accurate clinical decisions.
- Communicate clearly with clients to explain diagnoses, treatment options, and follow-up care.
- Maintain detailed and compliant medical records, oversees the care of hospitalized patients, and collaborates closely with veterinary technicians and support staff to ensure efficient clinic operations.
- Respond to urgent or emergency cases as needed and adheres to current veterinary standards to deliver high-quality patient care
Salary $110K/year
Location: Antioch, CA. 40 hrs.
